Sarah Stockton is recognized throughout Connecticut as an accomplished flutist, musician, teacher, and flute repair technician.
Sarah received her Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance in 2003 from the University of Connecticut, where she studied with Dr. Barbara Hopkins. Her past teachers include Gwynn Griffin, Ethan Stang, Greig Shearer, Barbara Hopkins, Peter Standaart, and Rhonda Larson.
Presently, Sarah is the only Straubinger Certified and Muramatsu Authorized flute repair technician in Connecticut, and is one of two JS Gold Recommended techs. She specializes in repairing and maintaining handmade flutes and flutes with Brögger Mechanisms, but enjoys bringing flutes of any level and mechanism design to their highest potential.
